Successful community leaders teach the history of the Tuskegee Airmen, Aviation Careers, Flight Simulation, and STEM.
We’ve positively impacted over 250 youth and counting!
The RedTails in High School has mentored and developed 7th to 12th graders through our after-school guided pilot curriculum. It consists of ground and flight training, STEM education, and leadership development. From classroom to cockpit, we mentor and shape future aviation professionals and leaders.
The RedTail Flight Academy enables underserved young people of color between the ages of 18-25 to achieve their goals of becoming professional pilots.
Our scholarships take you from being a Student Pilot to a fully licensed Commercial Pilot.
Graduates are placed into internships with top companies, and most receive job offers.
We also offer Public Access training to anyone who wants to learn to fly, and those funds help support the program.
The Archer Youth Maintenance Scholarship provides an incredible opportunity for aspiring aviation maintenance technicians to gain hands-on training and classroom instruction for careers in aviation maintenance. This program is a partnership with the Dutchess Community College Foundation to provide annual scholarships for Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) training leading to an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license and an associate degree. Recipients also gain access to internships, mentorship, leadership development, and career placement opportunities
Aviation Discovery Camps offers students aged 8 to 16 a fast-paced introduction to aviation and aerospace careers.
Led by aviation experts, the STEM-intensive camp includes classroom sessions covering aerodynamics, aviation history, airspace, navigation, and chart reading.
Students will also have hands-on experiences, including time on an advanced flight simulator and tours of the airport and corporate facilities.
The highlight of the camp is an introductory flight in a traditional single-engine aircraft.
